Abington
Summer Camp 2005

The Cubs summer camp was at Abington Woods, near Cambridge at the end of July. It was a wooded site with one large field and woods leading down to the very shallow river.

We lit fires and played wide games on the field in the dark. We had an enormous camp fire circle with lots of singing.

We went on a trip to Duxford where we saw the aeroplanes hanging from the ceiling and the hall of tanks.
